Hanna Marton is a freelance writer and sometimes travel photographer living in Sydney with her husband, Ryan. A journo for eight years, Han was features writer at Women’s Health magazine, did a little bit of everything at Men’s Health and cut her teeth at Caravan & Motorhome magazine (yes, really).
In January 2010, Han quit her dream job (not the caravanning one) and travelled from Australia to Europe with her bloke – the looong way – returning in October. Han and Ryan trekked through a Sumatran jungle, rode ponies in the Himalayas, caught one-too-many overnight buses, rafted on the Ganges and got lost looking for a mythical ice cave in Montenegro.
Han now freelances for Women’s Health, marie claire, Ninemsn, Harper’s BAZAAR, The Outdoor Room with Jamie Durie, Prevention, Practical Parenting, Cosmopolitan Pregnancy, Men’s Fitness and more. When not working at home in a converted piano factory, Han travels whenever she can… 30-something countries and counting!
